Gallery RIMA at Conference “Contemporary Fine Art in Serbia Today”

norv prezentacijaOn Thursday, 12th April 2018, at Norwegian residency in Belgrade, Gallery RIMA participated in Conference “Contemporary Fine Art in Serbia Today”. 

The conference was organized by the Ambassador of Norway, His Excellency Mr Arne Sannes Bjørnstad and his wife Mrs Hager Jemli Bjørnstad. The conference main purpose was to present contemporary art scene in Serbia with relevant actors from the art world and conversation with Nathalie Bosq, the conference moderator. The participants included artists, curators, art historians, collectors as well as relevant institutions whose many years of work contribute and enrich the contemporary art scene in Serbia. Ksenija Samardžija, art historian and curator at Heritage House Belgrade; Miroslav Karić, art historian and curator at Gallery Remont; Alexandra Lazar, art director and curator at Gallery Drina; Lidija Delić, artist and co-curator at art space U10; street artist known as TKV and artist Nikola Kolya Božović participated in discussion.

Gallery Rima was represented by collector Aleksandar Milojević, its founder and owner. The gallery’s multiple value and importance was elaborated through history of main exhibition and publishing activities, interpretation of modern art heritage and collaboration with renowned contemporary artists and most important institutions of culture in Serbia.
