Veljko Vučković (1994)

Born in 1994 in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, he completed his MA at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Nikola Božović, Applied Painting department. He earned his PhD in 2023 at the same faculty under the mentorship of Professor Ivan Grubanov.

From 2019 to 2024, he worked as a teaching associate and is currently an assistant professor at the same institution, where he teaches Drawing and Painting. He has presented his work in 19 solo and 150 group exhibitions at regional and international venues.

In 2025, he received the 1st International Prisma Art Prize in Rome (Italy), the 1st Award at the 63rd October Salon in Leskovac (Serbia), as well as the Igor Belohlavek Award at the 68th October Salon and an award at the 34th Small Format Exhibition in Šabac (Serbia). In 2024, he received the Vladimir Veličković Foundation Award for Drawing in Belgrade. Previous recognitions include the 3rd Niš Art Foundation Award (2018), the Momčilo Moma Marković Award for Best Small Format Drawing (2017), and a jury commendation at the 14th International Biennial of Miniature Art in Gornji Milanovac (2018). His works are held in private and institutional collections in Serbia and abroad. He has participated in art fairs including StART KX (London, United Kingdom), Art Madrid (Madrid, Spain), and Art Miami (USA, with Aria Art Gallery, 2024/2025), as well as Art Thessaloniki (Greece, 2026) and MoBU Art (Bucharest, Romania, 2026) with Gallery RIMA.
