At the 41st edition of the international art fair Art Brussels Gallery RIMA presented art by abstract painter Đorđe Djoka Ivačković (1930-2012). During four fair days, 24 – 27 April 2025, almost 25.000 art lovers visited the historical vanue of Brussels Expo built in 1935, just across the main expo attraction – Atomium from 1958. More then thirty years after Ivačković’s last solo show in the capital of Belgium, Gallery RIMA arranged a solo presentation of his paintings at the booth 5B-17, hence bringing his art back to interantional contexts where it belonged in the past. By presenting Ivačković’s works created between 1970s and 1996. Gallery RIMA was also part of the newest fair section „68 Forward“ which celebrated the beginings and long 20th century history of Art Brussels. Numerous encounters with art enthusiasts and professionals affirmed Ivačković’s artistic and historical position within broad cultural discours of Western Europe. At the same time, Gallery RIMA responded to the invitation by KickCancer Foundation, with artist Žolt Kovač and Rade Tepavčević who successfully donated their works for the KickCancer Collection.
