At the eleventh edition of Viennacontemporary, Austria’s leading contemporary art fair, held once again at Hall D of Messe Wien from September 11 to 14, Gallery RIMA presented works by three artists of different generations and artistic poetics at booth B10: Đorđe (Djoka) IVAČKOVIĆ (1930–2012), Žolt KOVAČ, and Nina IVANOVIĆ.
This year’s fair, the first under the artistic direction of internationally renowned curator Abaseh Mirvali, who brings two decades of experience in leading institutions and curatorial platforms around the world, gathered 102 exhibitors, including 97 galleries from 24 countries. Once again, Viennacontemporary reaffirms its long-standing commitment to the art scenes of Central and Eastern Europe, strengthening its position as the leading platform for discovering emerging talents and showcasing established artists from the region, while also providing a relevant overview of contemporary European artistic production.
