_______________
After two notable performances in previous years, Gallery RIMA once again presented Serbian artists at the prestigious Viennacontemporary art fair in Vienna this September.
Despite the global situation caused by the Covid-19 virus and the reduced number of fair participants, bearing in mind the success and importance of this type of performance on the international art and gallery scene, Gallery RIMA gladly responded to the fair organizers’ invitation to be among the exhibitors this year iin the Marx Halle. Gallery RIMA was the only gallery from Serbia at this year’s Vienna Contemporary Fair, and together with galleries from Ljubljana, was the only representative of modern and contemporary art from the former Yugoslav cultural space.
During the four days of the fair, from 24-27 September, Gallery RIMA presented three artists: Đorđe Ivačković, Andrea Ivanović Jakšić and Ivan Šuletić. Visitors to the fair will had an opportunity to see Ivačković’s large-format paintings from the 1970s and 1980s, a recent opus of paintings-objects by Andrea Ivanović Jakšić, as well as paintings, drawings and a unique object from this year’s production by Ivan Šuletić.
This year’s participation of Gallery RIMA in the Vienna Contemporary Art Fair was supported by the platform Serbia Creates.
